Mia grew up in a beautiful port town in Dublin, Ireland knowing she would be a vet nurse from a young age. Over the years she has had and loved many pets, including goldfish, rabbits, hamsters, cats and dogs.
Mia became a Vet Nursing in Ireland in 2002, and worked in several vet clinics. She also worked with the Irish Vet Nurse Association, and is passionate about excellent patient care, and continued professional education in our industry. She worked in referral ophthalmology, and emergency until she came to Brisbane in 2014. Since then Mia has fallen in love with Brisbane, and become an Australian citizen while caring for pets in Vet clinics throughout Brisbane.
She spends her free time exploring the outdoors with her young family and large goofball dog Shani.
