TRAINING VETERINARY NURSE

Jordan started her journey towards becoming a Vet Nurse in 2019 after deciding to have a break from Studying Zoology at University. While studying a Cert III in animal studies Jordan was required to attend work experience in the animal industry. Although TAFE offered a placement at a local shelter Jordan knew she wanted to head towards Veterinary Nursing so took the initiative to seek out her own placement at MyOwnVet to advance her knowledge in the field.

The first day Jordan spent at MyOwnVet on trial she knew she found what she was destined to do. She is now studying a Cert IV in Vet Nursing while working at MyOwnVet and intends to return to University to study further in the Veterinary/Animal Science fields in the future.

Jordan loves all animals from reptiles, dogs, cats, birds, rodents, livestock to horses, however, she is a self-proclaimed “Crazy Cat Lady” and loves doting on even the grumpiest kitties.

When not loving on patients at MyOwnVet Jordan spends her spare time working on art projects, playing the piano, spending time with her two Cats (Cotton and Slinky) and Horse Riding.
