Growing up in the country and being surrounded by various animals: cattle, horses, dogs, sheep, goats, pigs, chooks, ducks, peacocks, guinea flow, pet mice, birds, fish and snakes made Teneale’s decision very easy to study Veterinary Nursing to care for all creatures big and small.
After completing her Veterinary Nursing studies she packed her bags and was able to take her skills to work, live and travel throughout Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales. Working in small and large animal clinics in specialist centres, emergency centres in the cities and throughout the countryside.
With a passion for emergency and critical care Teneale returned to Australia to continue working in Emergency Centres.
Teneale then joined the My Own Vet team in 2017 bringing her skills, knowledge and calm approach and passion for all creatures to the clinic. She is extremely proud to be part of such an incredible and passionate team with amazing clients and pets to care for each day.
In her spare time Teneale can be found exploring the outdoors with her beautiful family.
