Caroline grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, birds, as well as small primates and snakes as pets. Since she was a child she believed she would work with animals.

Scholzan started her career for small animal’s in 2014 completing a Certificate II Animal Studies and continued on and completed a Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing.

Lindy is a Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse who started her nursing journey in 2009 as a school based trainee. She has always enjoyed looking after pets since a young age and has a special interest in dog behaviour.

Has practiced in a welfare organisation in Australia for several years before moving to Hong Kong to work. Robin spent over 5 years working as a vet in HK and has advanced in his knowledge and skill as a vet. Dr Robin has a strong interest in the field of surgeries and diagnostic imaging.

MICHELLE SEBASTIAN

Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Being surrounded by nurses in the family, the thought of becoming a nurse always lingered in Michelle’s mind. She decided that after working in the Veterinary industry completing a Certificate II in Animal Studies, that she would become a Veterinary Nurse. Currently, Michelle is studying to complete her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

MIA DOWNES

Veterinary Nurse

Mia became a Vet Nursing in Ireland in 2002, and worked in several vet clinics. She also worked with the Irish Vet Nurse Association, and is passionate about excellent patient care, and continued professional education in our industry. She worked in referral ophthalmology, and emergency until she came to Brisbane in 2014.

JORDAN

Training Veterinary Nurse

Jordan started her journey towards becoming a Vet Nurse in 2019 after deciding to have a break from Studying Zoology at University. While studying a Cert III in animal studies Jordan was required to attend work experience in the animal industry. Although TAFE offered a placement at a local shelter Jordan knew she wanted to head towards Veterinary Nursing so took the initiative to seek out her own placement at MyOwnVet to advance her knowledge in the field.
