VETERINARY SURGEON

Graduated Vet School back in 1994.

Worked in large animal practices, small and mixed animal practices and also in laboratory and pathology section.

Held a teaching position with the University of Queensland Veterinary School for a few years teaching 3rd and 4th year students.

Held different positions in different practices since in Australia.
His passion lays in small animal medicine and in small animal surgery, particularly Orthopaedics but also soft tissue surgery.

At MyOwnVet, Dr Ahmed does all types of surgeries normally performed at a small animal clinic. For those that need specialist care, we either have a specialist surgeon performing them at our clinic or we refer our patient to the specialist centre.

This is hands down the best vet surgery I’ve ever been to. Ahmed is such a caring and understanding vet and all his staff are great. He understands that it can be financially draining and has been patient with some of my delayed payments (eg. $1000 bill taking me up to 2 weeks to pay for). He is great with all my animals and when I compared vaccination costs with greencross vets, they were over $20 cheaper here! I’ve been going here for around a year now and for as long as I live in the area, I will always go here. Keep up the good work!!
